   Our Name
“Güve” is the Turkish word for “moth”. Atelier Moth could be the exact English equivalent of our name. However, the phonetic effect of the Turkish word “güve” and the visual effect with the harmony of letters inspired us to use the Turkish version of the word.

The fact that güve is a gnawing insect, just like an engraving master or carving master, and that it exists in nature in an unimaginable variety of forms and colors became the background for us to give this name.

Just like moths, we aim to continue our work without any boundaries in creativity and engraving/carving, in harmony with nature, with the most up-to-date and safest methods possible for our artists and the environment.
